The family of missing mother Whitney Copley are disappointed because they have not found closure in the case.
On Saturday, some Hart County fishermen found a bag of human remains in the Green River. Copley’s sister Teresa Meyer was hopeful that after ten long months, they could lay her sister to rest
However, police told Meyer Tuesday that the body found in the river was not Copley’s.

“We do feel disappointed,” said Meyer. “It’s heartbreaking thinking there is no closure, but then I feel positive and happy for that family, they have a loved one and can have closure.”
Meyer is still searching for her sister. Copley disappeared on September 30th while walking home along Hwy 127 in Dunnville.
Meyer says two search groups from Bullitt and Pulaski Counties will soon bring in dogs to scour the woods and hillside along the Casey/Russell County line.
“I think she’s in this proximity around Dunville, we’ve just been looking in the wrong spots,” said Meyer.
