Private Detective: Bond Set for Clark Co. Constable Charged With Selling Pills

A Clark County Constable charged with drug trafficking was in court Wednesday.

Police say they set up a sting back on July 13 and caught Constable Glenn Witt on camera selling prescription pain pills to a cooperative witness. They say he sold the witness Oxycodone pills for $320.

Witt was later pulled over and troopers found the money, his constable badge and a handgun. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment last week.

On Wednesday, Witt waived his preliminary hearing, which means his case now goes before a grand jury. His bond was set at $15,000.

Witt is being lodged in Powell County due to a conflict of interest.
