Private Detective: Robbery Suspects To Be Arraigned Today

Lexington Police say that two people have been arrested in connection with multiple robberies.

Investigators charged Kelly Cox, 35, for his involvement in the armed robbery of a Marathon gas station on North Broadway on July 19, the robbery of Forcht Bank on West New Circle Road on July 20 and the robbery of Fifth Third Bank on Versailles Road on July 23.

Police managed to catch up with Cox when his girlfriend saw his photo on the news and alerted authorities. She told detectives her car was the one used in the robberies.
