Private Detective: Lexington Teenager Arrested in Laurel County Robbery, Shooting

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office charged a third person in connection with the robbery and shooting of Trey Hedrick which occurred off Taylor Bridge Road back in June.

The third person charged is a 17-year-old from Lexington. He is now in custody in a juvenile detention facility, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.

He has been charged with Attempted Murder, Robbery 1st degree, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Deontae Williams, 19, of Lexington, was previously arrested in the case, as well as a 16-year-old female runaway from London. They are both charged with Attempted Murder, Robbery 1st degree, Theft By Unlawful Taking of a firearm, and Theft By Unlawful Taking under $500.

Williams was lodged in the Laurel Co. Detention Center and the 16-year-old female was transported to the juvenile detention center in Breathitt County
