Private Detective: Lexington Police Say Three Robberies Are Connected

Lexington Police are investigating an overnight armed robbery at a 24-hour drug store. Now police say the suspect in this robbery was involved with two other cases overnight.

It happened at around 3:30 at the Tates Creek Centre location of Rite Aid Pharmacy. The suspect came into the Rite Aid, lifted up his shirt and flashed a handgun. He demanded a handful of prescription pills from the pharmacy.

Police say the man was wearing a surgical mask over his face. Police also tell LEX 18 that he did not point the gun at the employee on duty.

No one was injured and there were no customers in the store at the time.
