A Lexington man is in jail after court documents say he nearly hit an officer with his car.
45-year-old Craig Chowning was arrested Tuesday night. Documents say he was seen running away from a drug deal after spotting police.

He’s now charged with wanton endangerment and driving on a suspended license.
