Police in Corbin have issued a Golden Alert for an elderly man who they say did not return home after a doctor’s appointment in London.
He is also a retired jockey.
They say his appointment was at 10:45 a.m.. He checked out of his appointment at 11:49 a.m. and has not made any contact with family or friends.

Police say Luther Adkins is driving a gray 2002 Buick Park Avenue with a personalized Kentucky license plate that says ‘Jockey.’
He was last seen wearing a black and blue flannel shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.
Police say Adkins is 5’3” and weighs about 135 pounds.
He is believed to be suffering from dementia.
