Private Detective: Wife of Accused Ringleader of Pappy Heist Enters Alford Plea

A woman has entered an Alford plea in an investigation involving stolen Pappy Van Winkle.

Julie Curtsinger pleaded guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance – steroids.

An Alford plea means she is not pleading guilty, but realizes there could be enough evidence to convict her.

Curtsinger’s husband, Toby, is accused of heading up the stolen bourbon ring.

The stolen bourbon is worth more than $100,000.

Curtsinger is facing up to one year in prison if found guilty. However, she will not be sentenced until the case is wrapped up.
