They say 44-year-old Pamela Bargo, of Barbourville, was charged with theft by unlawful taking over $10,000. Detectives say she is accused of stealing $11,785.85 while employed at Lynn Camp High School as the bookkeeper. Detectives say they determined Bargo had been taking money from April 3, 2015- February 4, 2016.

In March 2016, the Knox County School Board terminated Bargo from her position after an audit was conducted.

The case is still under investigation.
