Missing Person Concern Grows as Man Still Missing From KY Rest Stop

An Ohio mother is still holding out hope that her son, 54-year-old Randall Walker, will return home safely after his mysterious disappearance.

Walker was believed to have last been seen at a Southern Kentucky rest stop nearly a week ago. No one has seen or heard from Walker since then. Investigators say Randall was driving back to Ohio from a doctor’s appointment in Georgia when he and his passenger reportedly stopped at the rest stop.

The man says while Randall went to use the bathroom he dozed off. When he awoke, his friend was nowhere to be found.

Randall left behind his medication, cell phone, wallet and a cane he uses to help him walk. Walker suffers from bi-polar disorder.

Walker’s mother, Linda Dalton, says that this behavior is not normal for her son.

“I am just terrified that he’s out there someplace in the weather. But I also know his condition. He wouldn’t survive,” Dalton told LEX 18’s Evan Gorman.

If you know of Walker’s whereabouts, you are asked to contact police.
