Police in Florence say a woman was arrested after stabbing her husband with a knife.
Scottie Gilbert told police that while he was getting dressed for work Monday morning, his wife had a knife in her hand. He said she poked him in the neck with it, causing a minor laceration. He told police he then took the knife from her and left the apartment for work.

Scottie said his wife, Amy, then followed him out into the parking lot with another knife and stabbed him in the neck.
Scottie Gilbert drove himself to St. Elizabeth Florence and was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Thirty-seven-year-old Amy Gilbert was charged with assault first degree and transported to the Boone County Detention Center.
