Police have arrested a Clark County man after they say he locked his grandmother in her basement for more than six hours as he stole her car and other belongings.
The newspaper reports that Naomi Wingard called deputies to her home on Muddy Creek Road early Monday morning.
She told deputies that she had been locked in her basement since Sunday night when her grandson, Thomas Ballard, came over with another man and a woman. She said they locked her in her basement and took off with her car, wallet, and jewelry.
