Two Western Kentucky courthouses were shut down Monday morning after multiple suspicious packages were found.
Kentucky State Police say a bailiff at the Logan County Courthouse found a suspicious package at their rear door around 7:30 a.m. and alerted the Logan County Sheriff’s Department who evacuated the building and placed the area on lockdown.

KSPÂ say a bomb disposal unit was sent to the area to examine the package and discovered the device inside was a hoax.
The Todd County Courthouse faced a similar situation when they found a package at their door as well. KSP says that package has also been deemed a hoax.
As of now, police don’t have any leads as to who put the packages at the courthouses.
