Pedophile Simon Hale was convicted for posing as Justin Bieber and 1D “boyband” star Niall Horan to trick young girls to strip and commit sex acts online. Simon Hale, 37, convinced teen girls to touch themselves or younger children in a sexual manner.
The convicted pedophile recorded the sexualized video chats with young girls, all of which believed they were baring their bodies for Justin Bieber or Niall Horan, the Daily Mail reports.

Simon Hale was sentenced to a minimum of 10 years in prison but may be incarcerated for the rest of his life after being branded so “dangerous” he could always be a threat to others. Justin Bieber and Niall Horan were both notified about Simon Hale’s impersonation.
Both pop teen singing sensations were reportedly “horrified and appalled” by the convicted pedophile’s actions, The Sun notes.
Teen girls from around the globe posed topless or completely naked for Simon Hale, thinking they were being seen in the buff by Justin Bieber and Niall Horan and not a grown man from England. Hale’s conviction included blackmailing some teens into committing sexual acts via Skype.
Simon Hale convinced the girls they would be able to speak with Bieber and Horan in a chat room if they took off their clothes during the initial conversation.

Simon Hale used “sophisticated software” to gain control over the teen girls’ computers and recorded the striptease sessions and then used the videos to convince them into performing sex acts for Hale’s personal satisfaction. Law enforcement officers found 35 Skype accounts and more than 180 homemade videos on Hale’s computer.
The Daily Mail reports approximately 90 of the videos depict young girls performing sex acts alone or with other younger family members. Court documents in the pedophile case note one 13-year-old Justin Bieber fan took off all her clothes and “committed simulated sex acts” with her 6-year-old cousin. Another young girl was videotaped in a similar scenario with her 4-year-old brother by Simon Hale. The majority of the girls targeted by the Bieber and Horan posing pedophile were between the ages of 13 and 15.
“By pretending to be someone you knew the girls would idolize, you inveigled your way into their confidence and in several cases spawned an infatuation with you,” Judge Paul Darlow stated before passing sentence. Judge Darlow also called Simon Hale’s crime “sinister and premeditated” and “warned” the public that Hale would remain a “risk to the public” in the future.
In 2005 Hale was incarcerated for 5 years for “grooming” a young girl on the Internet, meeting her and having sex with her on at least two occasions. Simon Hale was convicted on 10 counts of causing or inciting children to commit indecent acts and 12 charges of making, possessing or distributing indecent images of children.
