Police said 80 people, five K-9 teams, and seven mounted teams, searched for William from mid-morning to dusk, but were unable to find the boy.

William McQuain is described by police as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5-feet tall and 85 pounds. The boy is a sixth grade student at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Germantown.

5 Recruiting Myths

Recruiting is a key component for a company’s success. There are many different ways to recruit top talent, but there are also myths surrounding recruitment. Obviously, you want to be sure to avoid these to ensure your future success. Here are five common recruitment myths:
Myth #1 – You can handle all recruiting online.
It’s true that in today’s job market, most recruiting is handled online through social media, job boards, website postings and through other online tools and resources. These are effective ways to recruit talent, but don’t underestimate the importance of human contact. Using professional connections can lead your company to a great candidate. Don’t just get stuck in the online recruiting scene, keep things fresh and look towards your connections and current employees for access to great talent.
Myth #2 – Software will find the best candidates.
Depending only on an applicant tracking systems (ATS) that only look at skills and not cultural fit to find the best-suited candidate is ineffective. An ATS shouldn’t be the only tool your company is using. Use every resource you have available in order to yield quality candidates for your openings.
Myth #3 – Today’s applicant-tracking software doesn’t require training.
You need to arm your human resources department with the best possible training for your ATS in order to use every feature to its fullest. The more they understand the technology they are using, the easier it will be to recruit the best talent for your company.
Myth #4 – A good applicant-tracking system makes interviewing and background checks less significant.
You should always conduct interviews for potential employees. Applicant tracking systems are for generating lists of candidates who best meet your company’s needs and wants for the position. The only true way to know if someone is a good fit is to conduct an interview, run a background check or use a combination of these tactics to find out more about the candidate.
Myth #5 – All systems are created equal.

http://liarcatchers.com/background_checks.html

Not all applicant tracking systems work the same. It is important that your company find a system that best fits your organization’s needs for recruitment. Using a system that doesn’t meet your needs will hinder your search for the best and highest quality talent.
Applicant tracking systems, along with other recruiting tactics, can be tricky. Once your company masters what they want and need by avoiding these common myths associated with recruiting, it will be on the fast track to finding high quality talent for your company.
What other recruiting myths need to be dispelled?

PEDOPHILE GUTTED IN BRITISH PRISON

Mitchell Harrison was in a British prison for, and reportedly boasted about, raping a 13-year-old girl. Two convicts were arrested Saturday after the 23-year-old rapist was found in his cell, dead and disemboweled. IOL News on the grizzly just desserts:

“Mitchell Harrison, 23, was killed at high-security Frankland Prison, in County Durham – where last year Soham killer Ian Huntley was slashed in the throat by a fellow inmate.
Serial sex attacker Harrison was butchered with makeshift weapons, thought to be razor blades melted into toothbrush handles.”
Post-mortem examination found that he had died from “multiple injuries,” but reports have surfaced that a source close to the prison said: “To all intents and purposes he had been disemboweled. There was blood everywhere.”

The inmate attackers Michael Parr, 32, and Nathan Mann, 23, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court where they spoke only to confirm their names.

Harrison was sentenced in January 2010 to a minimum of four-and-a-half years in prison for raping a 13-year-old girl in 2009. The pedophile had also been formally warned when he was 13 for indecently assaulting a 7-year-old girl, and at age 15 was taken to court for threatening to rape a 15-year-old classmate.

BBC News reports that a statement has been released by Mitchell’s family saying he did not deserve to die in such a “horrific way”.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

“Although we never condoned his past actions, he was serving his time and was by all accounts a model, trusted prisoner who did not deserve to die in this horrific way.
“We look forward to the day when the people responsible are brought to justice.”
According to Sky News, Frankland is a Category A facility housing more than 800 inmates, including some of the most serious offenders in the prison system.

Warren Jeffs’ former bodyguard wanted

ST. GEORGE – A 5th District Court judge authorized a warrant Wednesday for the arrest of a Hildale man who once worked as bodyguard for Warren Jeffs, the polygamous church leader who is serving a life sentence in prison for sexually assaulting a child.

William R. Jessop, 42, is being sought by the court after his failure to appear for two hearings to schedule payments he owes private investigator Samuel Brower. Brower won a claim that Jessop subjected him to a frivolous court filing, which required Brower to incur legal expenses he wants Jessop to pay.

One of Jessop’s three attorneys, Blaine Hofeling, told Judge G. Rand Beacham that Jessop is out of the country on unknown business and could not be present for Wednesday’s hearing.

“Yesterday, I called to check (with Jessop),” Hofeling said. “And he ended up in Switzerland.”

Beacham issued the $15,000 warrant and scheduled a new hearing on the matter for Nov. 23. Hofeling said he and Brower’s attorney, Willard Bishop, may reach a settlement on payment of Brower’s legal expenses before November, but Beacham said he still wants to see Jessop in court.

“As you can imagine, I don’t take well to people not showing up – especially not showing up twice. I’d like to hear why his appearance is optional when everyone else’s is mandatory,” Beacham said. “Whether he should be sanctioned or not, I don’t know.”

The court case between the two arose after Jessop filed a complaint in July 2008 seeking a restraining order against Brower, alleging Brower had taken television news crews from Northern Utah to property in the twin state-line communities of Hildale and Colorado City owned by members of the polygamous Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where they allegedly subjected the FLDS members to fear as they trespassed on the residents’ lands.

Brower denied the claims, stating he had recently returned from Texas, where he had been assisting a private investigator involved with a polygamy case. The court ruled Jessop did not have sufficient evidence to support his request for a restraining order.
“His witnesses would not lie for him,” Brower said. “We never had to put on our case.”

Brower then sued and won payment of the legal expenses he had incurred as a result of the court case, including travel expenses for witnesses from Salt Lake City’s ABC and NBC television news stations.

Jessop has failed to appear twice this year for hearings related to what assets he could dedicate to payment of Brower’s expenses, which amount to more than $13,000, leading to the authorization of Wednesday’s warrant.

Hofeling sent the judge a letter after Jessop failed to appear in June, claiming Jessop had been in the courthouse but somehow ended up in the wrong place as he was trying to avoid being seen with his cousin – a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy who was in court to testify at the unrelated trial of a former Enterprise resident involved in a standoff with deputies.

The court clerk added a notation to the case minutes refuting Hofeling’s claims about the time and location of the trial event Jessop claimed interfered with his ability to be present.

http://liarcatchers.com/executive_protection.html

“The fact is, everybody else was able to find the courtroom and be here, and Willie didn’t,” Brower said Wednesday.

Brower also challenged Hofeling’s story that Jessop may be seeking employment in Switzerland.

“Switzerland just isn’t the place someone would run off looking for work in the excavation business. Maybe to get to a Swiss (bank) account though,” Brower said by email.

Jessop shares the same first and last name as another noted member of the FLDS church, with whom he is sometimes confused. William E. Jessop, also 42 and formerly known as William Timpton, is a former Hildale City Council member and former member of the United Effort Plan board that controls the assets owned by members of the FLDS church.

The latter William Jessop was declared by Jeffs to be the FLDS church’s rightful prophet and leader during a phone call that was recorded in 2007 while Jeffs was incarcerated in Utah on an accomplice to rape charge.

Jeffs’ attorney later said his client misspoke. Brower said some division has arisen within the community over who should now be the church’s leader.

Although William R. Jessop did not appear in court Wednesday, he and Brower appeared together later in the day on the “Dr. Phil” television show, concluding a two-part interview about the FLDS community that was taped last month in California.

Kristen Stewart Has a Hot Bodyguard! Robert Pattinson Beware!

She admitted that she had to get used to having a burly and tough bodyguard following her everywhere after she shot to fame with Twilight. But, apparently, her bodyguard is also a fan…he even has his own fan site! Is that creepy or pretty flattering?

http://liarcatchers.com/executive_protection.html

While she admits that she needs a bodyguard to protect her from the “crazy” Twihard fans, Kristen Stewart can’t get used to being so famous. Her bodyguard, on the other hand, seems to be basking in the glow of his very famous client.

“The big jump for me, I guess was having security. And I mean going everywhere with you, just a big guy standing next to me the whole time. JB is his name – that’s my guy. And he would kill me for saying this, but even he has a goddamn fan site. All these girls have identified him and now he’s known as ‘HBG’ – Hottie Bodyguard,” Kristen Stewart said in a recent interview.

Is it weird for her bodyguard to have his own fan site? He could easily post intimate details that fans are just dying to know on his site, but obviously if he did that then he’d probably be out of a job pretty quickly and his site would be shut down for lack of information. So, he probably will just stick to protecting K-Stew and posting whatever it is that he posts in his free time.

Sara Leal Speaks Out, “Ashton’s Bodyguard Took My Phone”

The 22-year-old San Diego woman who claims to have slept with Ashton Kutcher, has given an interview to US Weekly’s Melanie Bromley, explaining what happened in the actor’s hotel suite on the night of 24th September 2011.

http://liarcatchers.com/executive_protection.html

Leal maintains that the Two and a Half Men star claimed his marriage to Demi Moore was over, saying, “He told a group of us that he was separated”. In a minute-by-minute account of the alleged party in Kutcher’s suite, Sara claims she ended up being alone with actor after her girlfriends had left. She claims to have no pictures or videos from the evening because Ashton’s bodyguard took her phone before returning it to her the following morning. Her story is thought to have rocked Kutcher’s marriage to Hollywood star Demi Moore, but Leal insists she would never have slept with the actor had she known he was lying about his relationship, she said, “I’m a normal 22 year-old girl, and I spent the night with someone who I thought was separated. If I had known he was happily married, none of this would have ever happened”.
Meanwhile, Ashton and Demi went on a camping trip together in Santa Barbara, California. Tabloid reports alleged they were attempting to fix their marriage in light of the recent allegations.

Michael Jackson’s Bodyguard’s Fingerprints Not on Saline Bag

The fingerprints of Michael Jackson’s bodyguard, Alberto Alvarez, are not on a saline bag that he testified to removing from an IV stand at Dr. Conrad Murray’s request, ABC News has learned.

The news could be trouble for prosecutors in Murray’s manslaughter trial. Prosecutors say that Murray was reckless in his care of Jackson and when it became clear that Jackson was in cardiac arrest, Murray took steps to cover up his alleged wrongdoing.
Alvarez told jurors last week that Murray asked him to remove vials of propofol and a saline bag hanging on an IV stand during the time that they were waiting for first responders to arrive to Jackson’s rented mansion.
“I thought we were packing, getting ready to go to the hospital,” Alvarez testified on Sept. 29. “I recall that while I was detaching it [the saline bag] from the IV stand, the bag was at my eye level. I was able to notice that there was a bottle inside this bag.”
Alvarez’s fingerprints were not on any vials either, sources told ABC News.
Alvarez said the bottle appeared to have a milky, white substance in it. Propofol, a powerful anesthetic, is sometimes referred to as “milk” by addicts. Jackson, 50, died of a drug overdose of propofol on June 25, 2009 after a night of rehearsing for a grueling 50-night comeback tour dubbed “This Is It.”
During cross-examination last week, defense attorneys tried to chip away at Alvarez’s claims that he had moved vials and a saline bag for Murray. Defense attorneys repeatedly questioned the bodyguard about why he never mentioned packing the vials and IV bag to police on the day Jackson died, but instead waited nearly two months to tell law enforcement.
Alvarez testified that news reports about the milky propofol sparked his memory and made him tell law enforcement.

http://liarcatchers.com/executive_protection.html

In addition to the lack of Alvarez’s fingerprints on the saline bag and vials, ABC News has also learned from sources close to the investigation that Michael Jackson’s fingerprints were not on any of the vials of propofol found on Murray or in Jackson’s bedroom. The defense has claimed that Jackson himself took a lethal dose of propofol and another sedative without Murray’s knowledge on the day he died.

Sam Thaiday happy playing bodyguard to Darren Lockyer

BIG Sam Thaiday rocks back with laughter when asked about his role as retiring Kangaroo captain Darren Lockyer’s bodyguard for the past two years.

Just as quickly, the likeable Kangaroos back-rower turns deadly serious on the prospect of Kiwi Test enforcer Jeremy Smith aiming a New Zealand barrage at Darren Lockyer during his final Test on home soil this Sunday.

“I’m kind of like Kevin Costner and he’s my Whitney. That’s fine, I quite enjoy the role,” Sam Thaiday said.

“We both make each other look good, I help him out in defence and he helps me out in attack.

“Every game they try and send their biggest blokes on the field at him and he does handle them all right, but it’s always good to have a mate help you out and a lot of the time that mate is me.

“Any player in their team over 100kg will be heading Locky’s way.

“I’m sure they’re going to send a lot of traffic our way so I’ll have to make sure I’ve got my shoulders warm because I’m sure I’ll be making a lot of tackles and being part of a lot of tackles as well.”

Kiwi coach Stephen Kearney named a well-rounded New Zealand side including five Test debutants yesterday, with Test enforcer Smith and 105kg back-rower Sika Manu expected to target Lockyer in his farewell appearance in Australia.

Australian back-rower Thaiday inherited the role of Lockyer’s bodyguard at the Broncos at end of the 2009 season, when the original ‘bodyguard’ Tonie Carroll retired.

Since then, Thaiday has filled the role for Brisbane, Queensland and Australia for the past two years.

“It’s been a great time playing footy with Locky.

“I’m sure I’ll sit down with my grandkids one day and tell them I played with Darren Lockyer and they probably won’t believe me,” Thaiday said.

Madonna’s bodyguard

A former U.S. marine who smuggled guns into Britain used to be a bodyguard for Madonna, a court heard today.
Steven Greenoe, 37, bought guns from American gun shops, broke them down to their component parts and then smuggled them into the UK in his luggage, a trial at Liverpool Crown Court heard.
And his ex-wife told the court that despite his celebrity clients he was living a criminal double life.
He is currently awaiting sentencing in the U.S. for smuggling guns in his luggage on commercial flights to the UK.
He was arrested at Raleigh Durham International Airport in July 2010 when an arsenal of 16 lethal weapons was found in his suitcase.
Today Greenoe’s former wife Elizabeth gave evidence at the trial of Steven Cardwell, 31, and Neil Copplestone, 32, both from Liverpool, who the prosecution say sold guns purchased and smuggled by Greenoe on to UK criminals.

The court heard the couple had lived in the south of France, where Greenoe worked for a company providing ‘maritime security’ for yachts.
Gordon Cole, defending Cardwell, asked Mrs Greenoe: ‘Was he working at times as security for films, in particular Ocean’s Twelve?’
Mrs Greenoe responded: ‘Yes, that’s right.’

Star: Greenoe was a bodyguard for Madonna, according to his wife
Mr Cole then asked if she had seen photographs of Greenoe ‘in the company of film or pop stars’ including George Clooney, Matt Damon and Madonna and if he had posted the pictures on his Facebook ‘wall’.
Mrs Greenoe said: ‘I have seen a picture of him when he bodyguarded for Madonna.’
The court was also told that certificates were discovered after Greenoe’s arrest which appeared to throw doubt on his claims to be a captain in the US marines.
One certificate referred to him being a lance corporal in an administration role.
Mrs Greenoe said her former husband, from whom she is now divorced, told her that aside from being a captain in the US marines he had also worked for Nato and the French Foreign Legion.

Ocean’s Twelve: Greenoe spent time on the Continent guarding the likes of Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and George Clooney
After his arrest it was discovered that Greenoe had run up credit card debts of £38,000 which his wife knew nothing about, the jury heard.
Yesterday the court was told that Greenoe bought a total of 81 firearms in gun shops in North Carolina and that some of them were smuggled and used in ‘serious criminal offences’ in the UK.
The prosecuting lawyer said forensic experts had proved that guns bought by Greenoe were used in a fatal shooting, an attempted murder in Manchester and an attempted robbery in Liverpool.
Cardwell and Copplestone both deny conspiracy to import, sell and possess prohibited firearms with intent to endanger life.
The trial is expected to go on for up to six weeks.

Steven Seagal Sworn-In as Border Sheriff

Steven Seagal is used to going straight to video, but this time it’s surveillance video…border surveillance video.
The hard fighting star of such Hollywood martial arts fare as Dangerous Man and Born to Raise Hell, was sworn-in last week as the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s department’s newest deputy, according to the Houston Chronicle.

http://liarcatchers.com/electronic_surveillance.html

Located in West Texas, a short two-and-a-half hour drive from Ciudad Juárez, Hudspeth County Sheriffs patrol a 5,500-square mile area including a 98 mile stretch of border.
According the sheriff’s department, Seagal, 59, a 7th dan black belt in Aikido, will bring his martial arts prowess to bear in protecting the border, as well as offering up his expertise to train the other sheriff’s deputies.
A sheriff’s department spokesperson, Gary Fleming, told the Chronicle that Seagal called to inquire about the gig a couple of months ago, and that his role as Texas deputy will have nothing to do with his current reality show on A&E called Steven Seagal: Lawman. That show involves Seagal’s activities with the sheriff’s department in Jefferson Parish, La.
The TV show will not be filming the law enforcement activities of Hudspeth County Sheriff’s department, he specified to the Chronicle. Fleming, however, refused to rule out the possibility of the town seeking a reality show of their own in the future.
There is no word yet regarding whether Seagal will be collecting a sheriff deputy’s salary for his border enforcement labors. Deputies earn about $15 an hour.
