Pedophile Tracking Former VA Church Youth Leader Arrested

A former church youth group leader arrested for child sex crimes is now facing more criminal charges.

A grand jury just came back with seven new felony counts against Jeffrey Clark. The additional charges include two counts of indecent liberties with a child; three counts of aggravated sexual battery; and two counts of indecent liberties with a child by a custodian.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Clark, 45, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery in September.

At the time, Chesterfield police said they received a report that Clark had inappropriately touched a juvenile male, who is known to him, on two occasions.

Clark is a former volunteer youth group leader at Immanuel Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. A former Director of Youth at the church said Clark faced similar allegations five years ago.

These are the first charges to be filed in Colonial Heights, Clark was previously charged in Chesterfield.

Police tell CBS 6 at least two of the victims knew Clark through his role at Immanuel Baptist Church and that the incidents happened over the past two years.

Clark is currently in custody at Riverside Regional Jail.

Private Detective: Police Looking For Men Who Broke Into The Same Store 3 Times

The owners of Blue Grass Home Entertainment have worked hard to build the business they have and they do not want to wait for their business to be broken into again.

They turned their surveillance video over to Crime Stoppers in hopes that someone will recognize the thieves.

“This is a privately owned business by people right here in Lexington, we care about them, these are our citizens, a husband and wife and they are directly taking the financial hit from this,” said Detective Mark Thomas with the Lexington Police Department.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

The store has been broken into three times this year, once in April and twice the same week in late October. Each time they’ve been broken into it has been the same two guys, each time carrying the same rock.

“You can see from the video they try to throw it through the glass that’s actually got a film that’s tempered on it.  And when that doesn’t work, they move to a separate window and throw a rock through it and pushes his way through the glass,” said Thomas.

They have walked away with expensive electronics each time. It only took two minutes for them to take two flat screens last time.

“Because they’ve done it multiple times this year, they’ve probably talked.  They’ve told somebody and someone who wants this thousand dollars may come forward and help us out,” said Thomas.

Crime Stoppers is offering a thousand dollars cash for any information about the case.

You can leave your tip on the automated tipline at (859) 253- 2020.

Private Detective: Synthetic Drug Flakka Becomes More Popular in KY

It’s the newest danger on the streets, it is almost completely unnoticeable, even on drug tests and it has made its way into Kentucky.

One Kentucky Sheriff is in the national spotlight for his fight against a synthetic drug called Flakka.

A Youtube search of “Flakka,” results in videos of women screaming, men enraged and even one man running around Tampa completely naked.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

A few months ago, Lewis County Sheriff Johnny Bivens spoke out against Flakka, to warn people of the danger it is and how it has affected his quaint Northeastern County.

He says the high puts users in a zombie-like state.

“Recently one of our deputies got in foot pursuit with one individual under the influence and he jumped into the creek and to what he said was to ‘cool off.’ his body was hot he thought he was on fire,” Bivens told LEX 18’s Steve Butera.

Alpha-PVP, better known as Flakka, is in rock form and can be smoked or injected when crushed; people are even using it in e-cigarettes.

The problem with keeping Flakka off the streets is that it is only a Class B misdemeanor, not a felony.

There is a federal ban on Flakka, but dealers are still able to sneak it in, in some cases through Florida and on I-75.

Sheriff Bivens hopes that lawmakers will listen and realize that Flakka is here to stay and something needs to be done about it.

Private Detective: Henderson County, KY Man Sentenced For Human Trafficking

A Henderson County, Kentucky, man was sentenced today in U.S. District Court by Chief Judge Joseph H. McKinley Jr., to ten years in prison after pleading guilty to human trafficking for recruiting two minors to engage in commercial sex acts, announced U.S. Attorney John E. Kuhn, Jr.

“Prosecution of those who exploit the young and vulnerable in our community is a top priority of this Office,” stated U.S. Attorney Kuhn. “We know that every instance of human trafficking forces the victims into a crucible of suffering. We also know this crime is occurring far more than it’s being reported. I hope today’s sentence not only sends a message to potential traffickers, but also shines a light on this underreported and heinous crime.”

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

According to the plea agreement, beginning in March 2014, defendant Jathar Williams, who was then 31 years old, made contact with a female who was then 15 years old, through Tagged, a social networking website. Williams arranged to meet the 15-year-old female and her 17-year-old female friend. Williams picked them up in Evansville, Indiana, and drove them to his residence in Henderson and told the minor females he could help them make between $700 and $800 a day performing commercial sex acts.

Williams admitted that between March 16, 2014 and March 21, 2014, he drove the two minor females to the Sugar Creek Inn in Henderson where he arranged for men to come to the hotel to engage in sex acts with the two minor females in exchange for money.

Williams admitted that he knowingly recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained, and maintained by any means, the two minor females, who had not attained the age of 18 years, and caused the minors to engage in commercial sex acts.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Amanda Gregory and was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Henderson, Kentucky Police Department.
