No arrests have been made. Police announced they will offer a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

Based on a witness statement, police said that they are looking for a red pickup truck with rust spots and damage to the front driver’s side of the vehicle. They do not have a make or model of the truck, but it was last seen in the Big Hill Road area just minutes before the collision.

Croucher’s family is searching for answers as to who would leave an elderly man lying in the road to die.

“I hope somebody comes forward, accept the consequences of their actions. And If not, I hope they have a lot of sleepless nights.” Charley Croucher, the victim’s son told LEX 18.

Private Detective: Victim and Suspect Flee The Scene of A Shooting

Both the victim and suspect fled the scene of a shooting on Lexington’s East side Wednesday.

“We don’t have much as far as who the victim or who the suspect is because both did flee the scene,” said Lt. Tommy Perkins. “We did have canine out to help assist track and during that time we actually locked down the schools, I had the schools locked down for approximately 45 minutes because of safety reasons.”

It happened around 2:15 p.m. outside of the Eastland Food Mart.

 http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

The woman inside the store told LEX 18 that she heard a gunshot, then a man in a grey shirt ran inside the store. He was bleeding from his stomach.

As she called 911, the victim fled.

People at the bar nearby said that they heard the shot and saw two black men in black T-shirts and jeans run from the area.

When police arrived on scene they made sure that neighboring Yates Elementary School was safe, putting it on lockdown. Then they had the canine unit scour the area.

Police found evidence that someone was shot, and not much more.

Due to the lack of information on the case, police are asking people to call if they witnessed or heard anything.

Private Detective: Lexington Police Arrest Suspect in Card Game Shooting

Lexington police have nabbed the suspect in the robbery and shooting of a man.

A Lexington Police officer on foot patrol spotted Adam Duff on 7th St. The officer chased Duff for about a block to Breckinridge Court. He was captured and taken into police custody.

Police were searching for Duff for his alleged involvement in the robbery that took place at a residence on Warfield Place. Officials confirm that this incident happened during a game of cards. The victim told police that Duff demanded money and then shot him in the leg. Officials say Duff fled the scene without taking anything.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

Duff is also a suspect in an unrelated arson investigation linked to a fire at Bracktown Road. In that incident  police say Duff went into the home of Clarence Woodrum.

Police say Duff chased Woodrum and his caregiver into a bedroom where they repeatedly asked him to leave. That’s when documents say Duff told the victims he would set the home on fire. Woodrum and the caregiver were left trapped inside the home.

Woodrum believes his caregiver jumped off the second floor balcony of the home to escape. He was eventually rescued by passers-by. A firefighter was also injured during the blaze.

Duff was out on parole at the time of both incidents after a 2009 conviction for bank robbery.

Duff is charged with two counts of attempted murdered, second degree wanton endangerment, first degree arson and robbery.
