Private Detective: Second Suspect Wanted in Meth Lab Explosion

A fire investigation on a quiet street in Lexington led authorities to a meth lab in the basement of the home. Now, a new development has authorities puzzled and asking for your help.

It happened in late March just after 9:00 a.m. on Woodbine Drive near Lafayette High School.

“The initial 911 call came in,” Detective Mark Thomas said. “And just said that there had been an explosion in the basement and they needed help.”

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

The fire department responded and so did a few police officers … for traffic control, not for a meth lab bust.

However, shortly after they arrived, authorities began to put two and two together … a critically burned man in the hospital, a blackened propane tank in the basement and evidence of a drug lab.

Authorities also learned that there was another man down in the basement with the known victim. This other “scientist” managed to sneak right by authorities.

“This gentleman we’re looking for was seen coming toward the officer, he had on an apron, some smoke like he’d been around the incident,” Thomas said. “But again, the officer directing traffic didn’t know this was related to any lab.  The suspect went down the street toward Lafayette High School, turned and disappeared.”

He hasn’t been seen since. Police have talked to Lee Michael Moore on the phone but he refuses to give himself up.

If you have any information that could help police, call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line 859-253-2020.

Your info could earn you a cash reward.

Private Detective: New Twist in Bourbon Theft Ring

The high-profile bourbon theft investigation in Frankfort took another turn on Wednesday.

Deputies say they’re trying to determine if a police officer bought steroids from one of the suspects indicted in the Pappy Van Winkle bourbon heist.

Sources say a well-respected, veteran officer with the Frankfort Police Department is under investigation for buying steroids from Gilbert “Toby” Curtsinger, one of the nine people indicted in a bourbon theft ring court documents describe as a “criminal syndicate.” Steroid trafficking charges were also included in the indictment.

Sources indicate the officer faces a choice of resigning or facing termination.

Sheriff Pat Melton said the nine accused suspects met each other playing softball. Deputies say they stole more than 300 bottles of Pappy and sold them over the years for $800 a bottle.

Pedophile Tracking Convicted Sex Offender Attempts to Pick Up Child in Stolen Bus

A convicted sex offender managed to steal a school bus in Emery County then tried to use the bus to pick up a little girl outside her house on Monday, according to the Emery County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect in this case is 30-year-old Patrick Fredricksen. He is a registered sex offender living in Ogden but grew up in Emery County according to Lt. Gayle Jensen.

On Monday afternoon Fredricksen was working for a landscaping company installing sod at a baseball complex in Huntington when one of his co-workers said he began acting strange and then just decided to walk off.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

According to the sheriff’s office, after leaving the baseball complex Fredricksen went to nearby Heritage Funeral Home. An employee there said he remembered seeing Fredricksen but thought he was just making funeral arrangements.

Later that employee realized his SUV was missing. Jensen said Fredricksen stole the SUV and then drove to an isolated, remote location between Elmo and Price. It was there that he came across and stole a school bus parked outside a home.

In both of these thefts the keys were left inside the vehicles. The school bus belonged to the Emery County School District, and according to the district, it is common practice for bus drivers to keep the buses at their homes.

Inside the bus was a list of stops and routes. Apparently Fredricksen followed one of these routes to the town of Cleveland, which is when he encountered a little girl outside her house.

“He did stop at one residence and tried to pick up a young child, the father intercepted that and he went on down the road at which time he met a person and asked for another address,” Jensen said. “She was very suspicious about that so she called that in and at that point we responded to that area and was able to bring this to a conclusion.”

Fredricksen is facing two charges of theft of a vehicle and attempted child kidnapping. According to Jensen Fredricksen was wanted by police on a parole violation and he did not have permission to be working in Emery County.

Following the arrest, Jensen said Fredricksen broke a pipe to the sprinkler system inside the Emery County Jail. This caused his jail cell and the booking area to be flooded.

He also faces another charge of damaging a jail cell. Fredricksen remained in the county jail as of Wednesday night.

Ward Landscaping, the company that hired Fredricksen, said they had no idea about his criminal past. They also said because of this they plan to revamp their hiring process when it comes to background checks.

Missing Person Danielle Paige Tucker of Jacksonville, FL

Friends and family are fearing the worst following a Jacksonville woman’s disappearance a week ago. A BOLO was dispatched on April 16 and flyers have been handed out, now Danielle Paige Tucker’s loved ones are forced to wait.

Connie McDonald says over the years she’s formed a bond with Tucker. The two, along with Brandy Munday work at the Waffle House on JTB. It’s place that now serves as a painful reminder of their friends absence.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

“Her family and friends need closure,” said Munday. “We really do. Because it’s very hard to work and have our regulars come in to ask have we heard anything.”

As JSO conducts an investigation, Munday says she’s doing her part by handing out missing person flyers for the mother of two.

“I’ve went to laundromats, gas stations anywhere I can post it,” said Munday.

JSO reports show Tucker was last seen by someone she gave a ride to work, at the Target store on Roosevelt Boulevard on Jacksonville’s Westside.

Munday and McDonald reached out to that person, searching for clues.

“He showed us the text message and everything, said McDonald. “She sent a text message to him stating that she made it home safely.”

Munday says her friend once struggled with a drug addiction but she’s been sober for 4 years. Tucker graduated from school to become a medical assistant, saved the deposit for a new rental home and in her six days missing she has not touched her bank account.

“I don’t think that she’s back slid,” said Munday. “She had too much going for her. She was on a lot of internet sites meeting people and I know how dangerous that is. I think maybe she met the wrong person.”

“We’re going to continue to look until we know otherwise,” said McDonald.

Tucker, 41, was last seen driving a red color 2002 Toyota Corolla with the tag BYZG31.

Call Crime Stoppers with any information at 1-866-845-TIPS.
