Joshua Easley’s parents just want to know where their son went.

Two months ago, Easley’s car and keys were found at the end of Lakewood Drive in North Ogden. Easley, a 25-year-old father of two, was nowhere to be found.

“For him to just walk away from his car and leave it and never contact us again about it or even ask where it is, that’s not him,” said Easley’s father, David Martin.

Police searched the area for any clues about Easley’s whereabouts, but they came up empty.

“We don’t know why he was there or what he was doing,” said Sgt. Sam Despain of the St. George Police Department. “We don’t even know if he necessarily was there.”

The St. George Police Department is working on the case because that’s where his parents live and where they filed the missing person’s report.

“He just doesn’t go without talking to us, his mother, especially,” Martin said.

There are no indications something bad happened to Easley, but his parents believe otherwise.

“Something isn’t allowing him to get in touch with us,” Martin said.

“It’s not like he’s in trouble,” Martin said. “We just want him back. We want to know anything that will help us for closure. Anything.”

Two men were convicted last week for traveling to Murray County, GA, to have sex with children.

Michael Robert Doan, 54, of Ooltewah, and Sunil Shamji Jungiwalla, 49, of Snellville, GA, were both convicted of two counts of criminal attempt to commit child molestation and computer and electronic child exploitation. Both men face up to 60 years in prison.

According to a release from Conasauga District Attorney Bert Poston, Doan and Jungiwalla both chatted online with a member of the FBI’s Northwest Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Detective Brett Morrison pretended he was trying to hook Doan and Jungiwalla up with his underage female relatives, who do not actually exists.

Jungiwalla communicated with Morrison through text messages and phone calls, as well as graphic emails. He drove to Murray County in July 2011, where Morrison arrested him. According to the release, Jungiwalla admitted that he came to town to have sex with an underage girl.

A Norfolk-area sailor faces a number of charges related to child pornography following an NCIS investigation that lasted nearly a year.

Douglas Lawrence True, 22, is charged with conspiracy to produce child pornography, production of child pornography, receipt of child pornography, use of interstate commerce facility to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity and possession of child pornography.

According to an indictment handed down by a federal grand jury on Thursday and affidavits filed with warrants for True’s arrest earlier in the month, the NCIS investigation began in September 2013.

The court documents accuse True of soliciting sex from teenage girls and asking them to send him explicit pictures. The court documents also say True asked for and received pictures of a woman performing oral sex on her child.

Rebecca Mae Gibbs is also named in Thursday’s indictment. Gibbs is charged with conspiracy to produce child pornography, production of child pornography and distribution of child pornography.

Warrants for Gibbs’ arrest were issued following Thursday’s indictment. True was arrested in early June and is being held in jail awaiting trial.

A northwest Missouri man is facing a mandatory life sentence for child sexual abuse after he was found to be a predatory sexual offender.

A Platte County jury found 50-year-old Fentress Maurice Wilson of Riverside guilty Tuesday of first-degree statutory sodomy of an 8-year-old girl.

After he was convicted, prosecutors presented testimony that Wilson had a decades-long history of sex crimes against children.

The Kansas City Star reports (http://bit.ly/1qxPuPd ) Missouri law allows prosecutors to cite previous acts of abuse only to increase punishment after a defendant has been found guilty.

Platte County Eric Zahnd is part of an effort to change the Missouri Constitution to allow prosecutors to tell jurors about a defendant’s prior sex offenses before they reach a verdict. The measure will appear on the November ballot.

Philadelphia Police are searching for an endangered missing person.

According to Police, Bonita Pritchette went missing from her residence on the 6900 block of Old York Road on Wednesday. The last contact she had with her family was on Tuesday.

Pritchette is 51 years old 5’5”, 285 lbs., with a heavy build. She has brown eyes and short black hair. She was last seen wearing bluejeans and black sneakers.

She is insulin dependent and suffers from Bipolar Disease.

Authorities say she may be operating a 2007 Blue Kia Rio, with a PA Tag #03808PD, with a vanity plate displayed in the rear window, “GOT Jesus.”

Police say a man in Boyle County recorded his neighbor naked for months without her knowing.

Timothy Payne was arrested Tuesday at his home on West Secretariat. Investigators say back in November, a neighbor found a wireless camera in the vent of her bathroom and they were able to trace the camera back to a neighbor – Timothy Payne, who had a Netgear account.

According to the warrant, Payne used the camera to watch his neighbor while she was naked or engaging in sexual conduct.

When investigators searched Payne’s house, they say they found a base station, hidden in the spare tire section of Payne’s car, that allowed him to watch and record video from the camera.

Payne is charged with a misdemeanor voyeurism charge.

LEX 18 reached out to Payne’s lawyer, but have not heard back.

Investigators say a man accused of trying to pass fake checks at several businesses has been identified by his own mother-in-law.

Deputies say they’re now looking for 46-year-old Bobby Brewer. Investigators didn’t have a name for their suspect until his mother-in-law saw his picture on TV.

Brewer is wanted for passing fake trucker’s checks at several businesses in Fleming, Estill, Clark, Magoffin and Lee counties. Each time, deputies say he purchased some merchandise and asked for cash back.

The checks appear to be a fraudulent “trucker’s check,” according to the Sheriff’s Office. It’s a FirstData EFS Transcheck, common with semi-truck drivers, but the transaction number, issuer number and telephone number on the check appear to be fraudulent, and the bank will not honor the check.

Brewer is described as a white man with dark brown hair and a brown/gray goatee, about 6-feet tall and 235 lbs wearing a gray polo and blue jean shorts and black tennis shoes with a large black tattoo the length of his left lower leg and possibly another tattoo on his left shoulder.

Deputies say he was driving what appears to be a gray, newer model Chrysler 200 four-door sedan with a handicap placard on the rearview mirror and possibly a Kentucky license plate.

Officials say he was traveling with a white female with blonde hair who stayed in the car the entire time while he went inside the businesses.

A Lexington man was found guilty of having thousands of child porn images.

Erik Hentzen was convicted of downloading thousands of videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit acts from May 2012 to March 2013.

He will be sentenced in September.

Each of the charges he was convicted of carries a maximum term of 20 years in prison.

A Missoula man appeared in justice court this Wednesday afternoon on felony charge for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 12 year old girl.

19-year old Steven Maurice Hayes is charged with felony sexual abuse of children, possession of material and felony sexual assault.

Court documents state the victim’s parents discovered Hayes had exchanged nude pictures with the girl through text messages.

In a detective interview, Hayes admitted to asking for her pictures and confessed that he had kissed and touched the child and planned to have sex with her as well.

Wednesday in court Judge Geer prohibited Hayes from contact with anyone, including family members, under the age of 18.

He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Staten Island man who went missing on Wednesday.
