Pedophile Tracking Husband and Wife Doctors Indicted in Little Rock

A federal grand jury indicted a Little Rock husband-and-wife physician team Wednesday on charges of health care insurance fraud that exceeded $1.2 million.

Dr. Robert Barrow, 60, and his wife, Dr. Angela Barrow, 50, each were charged with one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and six counts of health care fraud, according to a press release from the office of U.S. Attorney Chris Thyer.

The couple owned and operated Your Doctor’s Office, a clinic in Little Rock.

“The doctors affiliated with a local massage therapist, whose services were billed to health insurers as physical therapy and with whom the doctors would split the proceeds,” the news release said.

Related claims to Medicare and Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield alone exceeded $1.2 million during the alleged fraud, the release said. The news release didn’t say how long the alleged fraud occurred, and the indictment wasn’t immediately available.

The indictment also charges that Robert Barrow billed for therapeutic ultrasounds that were never performed, according to the press release. He also is charged with four counts of making false statements in relation to health care matters.

If convicted, the Barrows face up to 10 years in federal prison on each of the six counts of health care fraud as well as 10 years for the overarching conspiracy. Robert Barrow also faces up to five years in prison on each count of making false statements in relation to health care matters.

Pedophile Tracking Former Cabarrus County, NC School Employee Gets 10 Years

A former Cabarrus County Schools employee has been sentenced after pleading guilty to sex crimes involving a child.

WSOC-TV reported that prosecutors suggested Michael Wayne Osborne, 40, may have as many as 133 victims.

10 years was the mandatory minimum that Osborne could receive by law.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Under a plea deal, he pleaded guilty to one count of coercion and enticement of a minor.

Osborne was accused of posing as a teenage girl on Facebook and in texts to persuade teenage boys to send naked pictures of themselves.

In federal court Thursday, his attorney said that in Osborne’s own words, “He feels like a kid in a grown up body. He has no friends, never had a girlfriend and has always lived with his 77-year-old mother from birth until now.”

His attorney said Osborne never developed sexually and is still unsure of his sexuality.

This is Osborne’s first criminal conviction, but prosecutors called what he did online and by text “serial” because they said he victimized as many as 133 others.

In court, Osborne apologized to his victims and their families, and to his family.

Wrongful Death Hurlock, MD Man Charged in Missing Person Case

Dorchester County State’s Attorney William Jones announced Friday a Dorchester County grand jury has indicted William Stevens Hamilton of Hurlock, charging him with first- and second-degree murder in connection with the August 2009 disappearance of another Hurlock man.

Jones said Craig Junior Parker disappeared in August 2009 and was an employee on Hamilton’s farm during that period.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

The state’s attorney said Hamilton, 66, was arrested Tuesday, April 1, after an investigation by the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit. Hamilton also is charged with first-degree assault.

He is being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center without bond.

“We have not found the body,” Jones said. “I am not able to disclose any additional information about the case with the investigation ongoing. We are still asking the public for information about the case. Anyone with information about the case can call Maryland State Police Sgt. Steve Hall at 410-822-3101.”

Parker lived alone in the 4900-block of Williamsburg Church Road, Hurlock. Parker was reported missing in October 2011, though he was last seen in Dorchester County in summer 2009, according to the Maryland State Police in October 2011.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office and Natural Resources Police joined state troopers in the search. A week after Parker was reported missing, police searched a Williamsburg Church Road farm for several days. Nothing substantial apparently was found during the initial search in 2011, police said.

Wrongful Death Victim’s Family Reacts to Serial Killer’s Execution

Tommy Lynn Sells, a serial killer convicted in the 1999 murder of a Lexington girl, was executed in Texas Thursday.

Nearly 15 years have passed since Anna Walker’s then 13-year-old granddaughter Haley McHone was abducted, raped and murdered in a Lexington park by Sells.

“He didn’t even bury her. He just put her under brush in a ditch, never covered her or nothing,” Walker said.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

Sells was later arrested for a similar crime in Texas and admitted to several other murders around the country, including McHone’s. He was sentenced to death.

“I kept thinking he should be killed right now,” Walker said. “He should already be dead.”

Walker and Haley’s sister, Sarah, still look through old newspaper clipping and think about Haley as they await closure.

This week, they said, it finally came.

Sells lost his final appeal, hoping to delay his death sentence based on an argument that there were too many unknowns associated with the lethal drug. But the court disagreed and Sells was put to death.

“Well, this is the closer we’ve been waiting for all these years,” Walker said. “If they burn you in Hell, I believe he’ll burn eternally.”

Sells declined to make final remarks before his death. He was pronounced dead at 6:27 p.m. central time Thursday.
