Two New York men accused of identity theft and credit card fraud will be arraigned on Thursday after being arrested in Monroe.
Police responded to Rite Aid at 435 Main Street, on July 10 for a report of fraudulent credit card use.
While police searched Jerome Ravenell, 30, of Brooklyn, New York, and Dequan Bates, 21, of Hempstead, New York, they found a “thumb drive” in Ravenell’s pocket that contained track data indicating about 300 other victims, police said.

The track data was from credit cards and debit cards and could be used to recode credit cards for fraudulent use, according to police. Where that data came from is not yet known.
The USB device also had a digital headshot of Bates that had been used on a fake Florida driver’s license found in Bates’ possession, police said.
Ravenell and Bates turned themselves in to Monroe Police Department on Sept. 13.
Bates was charged with one count as an accessory to commit unlawful completion or reproduction of a credit card.
Ravenell was charged with 10 counts of unlawful completion or reproduction of a credit card.
Each was held on $50,000 court-set bond and will be arraigned on Thursday.
