A man was found dead in Garrard County, now police are investigating who he is, how he died, and how long he has been dead.
The body was found by a man clearing tall grass with a bushhog, around 4:30 Sunday afternoon. He tells LEX 18 News he ran over the body.
At this point, the Garrard County coroner and police don’t know who the person is. We’re told the body was badly decomposed and has been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.

The body was found a couple miles south of Lancaster, not far from the Highway 39..
KSP investigators on scene confirm they’re looking into the possibility that it’s the body of a man who is missing from Crab Orchard, but it’s too early to tell if that’s the case.
