A 15-year-old Long Island girl went missing after she went to meet someone she met on a social networking site, her family told police.
Alisa Papik was last seen at her Farmingville home about 3 a.m. Sunday, Suffolk County police said.
Her mother told cops that she believes the teen, a Sachem East High School freshman, was going to meet with an older man she met on the website MeetMe.com.

A spokeswoman for the Suffolk County Police Department said they were investigating the mother’s claims.
Alisa is 5-foot-3 and about 110 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She also has a scar on her chin.
