Fraud Investigation Man Arrested in Stratham, MA Faces 13 Charges

STRATHAM — A Massachusetts man arrested at an Osco Pharmacy in Stratham is facing 13 charges related to forged prescriptions.

N.H. State Police said James Whitmyer, 45, of 15 Donovan Drive, West Newbury, was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the completion of a monthlong investigation. Police allege he was trying to pass a fraudulent prescription at the time of his arrest in Stratham.

Whitmyer was charged with uttering forged prescriptions at multiple Rockingham County area locations.
The arrest was made by the N.H. State Police Narcotics & Investigations Unit, which credited assistance provided by Stratham police and Massachusetts State Police.

Whitmyer faces arraignment dates in N.H. circuit courts in Salem (Nov. 14), Plaistow (Dec. 10), Candia (Dec. 12), Seabrook (Dec. 13) and Brentwood (Dec. 14).
