SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A man from Michigan is in the Greene County Jail, charged with drug trafficking, after troopers stop his truck and find more than 170 pounds of marijuana hidden inside.
The truck was stopped for speeding Wednesday on I-44 at the 81 mile marker in Springfield.
Troopers say the driver’s story didn’t add up, so a drug dog was called in. The marijuana was found under a load of furniture in the truck.
