SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – San Luis Obispo Sheriffs are looking for 69-year old Los Osos man who they say is at risk. He was last seen leaving Sierra Vista Hospital around 11:30am today.
According to San Luis Obispo Sheriff Deputies,
“On 10/12/12 at 2100 hours Sheriff’s Deputies took a report of an at-risk missing adult in the San Luis Obispo/Los Osos area. John Andrews, 69 years of age, from Los Osos was reported as being last seen leaving his home on foot the previous evening in blue jeans and blue collared shirt. A check by deputies of all area hospitals, homeless shelters, and crisis care providers revealed that Andrews was seen for a heart-related medical issue at Sierra Vista Hospital and discharged at 1120 hours today.

Andrews does not have a vehicle and is a regular user of local mass transit buses. He frequents the downtown San Luis Obispo area and is often on foot in Los Osos. According to family members Andrews is suffering from bouts of depression, memory loss, and is often disoriented. The Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone seeing or having contact with Andrews call Sheriff’s Dispatch at 781-4550. “
