Investigators say a fire that destroyed a Bourbon County house Friday night was arson.
The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. on High Street in Paris.
Lauren Marrs and her three-year-old daughter weren’t there at the time, but lost everything they own. Marrs told LEX 18, the house had no electricity for days, leading investigators to call the fire suspicious.

“I came here and seen it and I mean, I looked in the window and I started crying. I didn’t know what to think, you know? First thought in my mind is what am I gonna do now, you know?” said Lauren Marrs, the victim of the fire.
No arrests have been made.
