Officials on Tuesday released the identities of two children killed in a school bus crash in Carroll County Monday.
Officials say Ryder Deitz and Caroline Tuttle, both three years old, were killed in the crash, which happened on a narrow country lane. Four children remain hospitalized.
State police said Monday the bus overturned and crashed into a tree, killing two children headed home from their Head Start program in Carroll County. Nine children, all preschoolers, were on the bus along with two adults.

Officials with Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville said six of the children were taken there and two were discharged.
Chief Nursing Office Cis Gruebbel says of the four remaining children, three are in stable condition in intensive care with skull fractures. The fourth is expected to be discharged Tuesday.
Gruebbel said the roof of the school bus caved in, and the injuries ranged from skull fractures to broken bones and internal injuries.
