A six-vehicle chain reaction crash along I-75 in Fayette County created a traffic backup during rush hour Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. The driver of a white Mustang says he hydroplaned as he was trying to merge onto southbound I-75 at the 113 mile marker. He clipped another vehicle and started a chain reaction that ultimately involved two mini-vans, another car and two semis.

Nobody suffered any serious injuries
As of 9 a.m., all lanes were still blocked. Police were directing traffic by on the shoulder.
Officials did not say how long they expected it would take to clear the scene.
