A Rome woman accused of getting a Georgia ID under a different name and defrauding Blue Cross/Blue Shield was arrested Monday, according to Floyd County Jail reports.
According to the reports:
Elvira Bartolon Morales, 30, of 2010 Hull Ave., was charged with felony aggravated identity fraud and felony insurance fraud.
Morales fraudulently obtained a Georgia ID under the name Enna L. Soto and gained employment and medical insurance in 2007 through Sara Lee Bakery.

She then used the company insurance to pay for her visits to Harbin Clinic’s Women’s Center for pre-natal care in March.
The total amount for services came to approximately $1,097 and Blue Cross/Blue Shield paid approximately $435.25.
Morales remained in jail Monday night without bond and on a hold for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
