Lexington Police have obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect in a bank robbery earlier this week.
Om Monday afternoon, officers were called to the Chase Bank on Winchester Road in response to a robbery. Upon arrival, victims told police that a suspect, now identified as William Darryl Abshear, entered the bank and produced a note demanding money. The bank employees complied. Police say Abshear then took the money and walked out of the bank in an unknown direction.

On Thursday, based on evidence collected by investigators, the Robbery/Homicide Unit has obtained a second-degree Robbery warrant for Abshear’s arrest.
