Two men were arrested Sunday after police say they discovered a marijuana growing operation at a home in Frankfort.
A Franklin County Sheriff’s deputy went to a home on Creekside Lane to investigate a report of a reckless driver. A vehicle matching the description was found parked at the home, and the deputy detected a strong order of marijuana coming from the house when he approached.

Upon further investigation, an active marijuana grow operation was discovered. As a result of the reckless driving complaint, two suspects were arrested. Kevin L. Barnett, 38, is charged with cultivating marijuana and trafficking in marijuana over five pounds. William N. Barnett, 18, is charged with cultivating marijuana. Both are being held in the Franklin County Regional Jail.
The case is under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
