State Police in Ashland have arrested a Carter County man after receiving a complaint of a residential fire at a home on Carter Caves Road in Olive Hill earlier this month.
On December 5, a residential fire occurred at the home of Timothy Dwayne Adams. On Friday, State Police received a call from an individual wishing to speak with a trooper to discuss the details of the fire.

A trooper responded to CW Stevens Boulevard on Grayson and made contact with Adams. An interview was conducted and it was determined the fire had been intentionally set by the Adams.
Adams, 36, was arrested, and is being held in the Carter County Detention Center on a charge of second-degree arson.
