A Corbin woman died this afternoon in a crash along I-75 North in Grant County.
State Police say Jacob Evans, 29, lost control of his Honda just before 1:00 p.m. He slammed into a pickup that was parked on the shoulder. Evans’ wife, Nora Green, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup, Danny Marsh, 67, of Boone County, had stopped to help at the scene of an unrelated collision. He was not in the truck when Evans crashed into it, and was not injured.
Evans was taken to a local hospital for treatment. There’s no word about his condition.
