Accident Reconstruction 2 Drivers Killed in Fleming County Accident

Two drivers were killed Friday afternoon in Fleming County’s first traffic fatality of 2013.

The fatal accident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Highway 57 about a half-mile outside the community of Mt. Carmel.

Kentucky State Police say both Timothy Doyle, 52, and Roger Utterback, 66, were declared dead on the scene.

While the cause of the accident is still under investigation, troopers say Doyle’s truck was heading southbound toward Flemingsburg when it crossed the center line and collided with a minivan driven by Utterback who was heading in the opposite direction.
