Laurel County police are investigating a crash Monday morning that sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries.
The accident happened just after 8 a.m. on U.S. 25 about 10 miles south of London. According to what witnesses told police, a BMW was southbound on U.S. 25 when it rounded a curve and crossed over into the opposing lane and collided head on with a northbound Chevy Avalanche. The vehicles came to rest blocking the roadway.

The driver of the BMW, Justin Adams, 19, of Gray was flown to a Tennessee hospital. The driver of the Avalanche, Clyde Hamilton, 42, of Corbin, was also flown to a Tennessee hospital.
Police are continuing to investigate.
