A Lexington man was killed when he crashed his motorcycle into a pickup truck early Saturday morning.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office reports that 40-year-old Brandon P. Morrison, of Lexington, died in the collision at the intersection of Greendale Road and Leestown Road.
Lexington Police tell LEX18 they were first notified of the collision at 3:42 a.m.
Police say Morrison was riding his motorcycle without a helmet when he went through a red light and collided into a GMC pickup truck that was turning from Greendale Road onto Leestown Road.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to UK Hospital, say Lexington Police.
A reconstruction unit spent the next few hours at the scene of the crash investigating, and have since cleared the area.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Morrison are pending at the time of this writing.
