A Watertown resident was hit with multiple charges by city police for allegedly purchasing more than $200 worth of items with another person’s debit card information.
Police said Kristen M. Ames, 24, of 129 S. Orchard St., used the card of James H. Patell to make three purchases with a total value of $218.33.
Police listed a $55.06 online purchase at Pizza Hut, 1815 State St., on Jan. 9, a $103.29 online Pizza Hut order Jan. 16 and a $59.98 online purchase from Planet Fitness on Jan. 17.

Charged with three counts of third-degree identity theft, third-degree unlawful possession of personal identification information and petit larceny, Ms. Ames was processed at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released with an appearance ticket for City Court.
