Alaska State Troopers arrested an Angoon man on Friday after he was indicted for sexual abuse of a minor.
Troopers said in a dispatch that Joshua Wayne Cole, 26, was arrested in Angoon at about 2:45 p.m. on an outstanding warrant, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center in Juneau on $50,000 bail.
Cole was indicted by a grand jury in Sitka on first- and second-degree sexual abuse of a minor charges, according to troopers.

Troopers Public Information Officer Megan Peters said the victim reported she was abused by an extended family member’s boyfriend on two separate occasions over the span of a year. The abuse took place in a residence in Angoon, Peters said. Troopers handled the investigation, which began in October.
