Several police forces are searching for a man they believe lead them on a high speed chase down I-75 South Thursday evening.
Sheriff’s deputies in Madison County were pursuing a stolen pick up truck when the driver took off. Police say the truck was stolen in Ohio.

The chase went down the interstate and into Rockcastle County. Around mile marker 48 a spike strip was set out to top the truck.
About 2 miles later the suspect ditched the truck and took off into a wooded area nearby.
Two K-9 units were brought in to assist in the search. The suspect is still on the loose.
