A bizarre find is under investigation by Lexington Police after officers went to look into a call about a body at a Lexington motel Wednesday morning.
Lexington Police assisted the fire department with a deceased person at the Knights Inn on Stanton Way. Police say they found what they call an “adult child” dead inside the room and two others around the same age who appeared to be emaciated. Those two were taken to UK Hospital to be treated.

Meanwhile, detectives began an investigation into who all were staying there, and if there was any reason to suspect neglect. A this point, police say they’re not sure if anything criminal will come of this, but they’ll continue to look into it.
Police say they are also waiting for the coroner to determine how the other person died. They say all three appeared to have developmental or other disabilities.
