A West Des Moines man faces a felony charge of third-degree sexual abuse and two misdemeanor charges in a case reported to authorities last fall, the West Des Moines Police Department said in a media statement.
Mark John McMahon, 46, was arrested on three outstanding warrants, including third-degree sexual abuse (a Class C felony), dissemination/exhibition of obscene material to a minor (serious misdemeanor) and sexual exploitation of a minor (an aggravated misdemeanor).

The charges from a West Des Moines case from last September when McMahon is alleged to have had in his possession (computer) child pornography that he allegedy showed to a minor. McMahon is also alleged to have performed a sexual act on a minor.
McMahon was arrested around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, booked at the West Des Moines Police Department and then transported to the Polk County Jail.
