A drug dog for Jackson County Sheriff’s Office brought to assist at a traffic stop Wednesday alerted on prescription drugs, leading to the arrest of five people.

Deputy Travis Renfro stopped the car with the five suspects inside for a traffic violation and called for Narcotics Lt. Jimmy Jones and Luke to check the car, Phillips said.
