An Arkansas City man is being charged with child sex crimes through Arkansas City District Court, according to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office.
Nicholas Carl Barker, 23, was booked Friday into the Cowley County Jail in Winfield, according to a jail roster provided by the sheriff’s office.
He is charged with seven counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
His bond was set at $50,000 and he remained in jail Tuesday morning.

Police Chief Sean Wallace said Tuesday that another suspect is being interviewed and possibly more witnesses, as well.
A press release will be made available through the Cowley County Attorney’s Office once the investigation is complete, Wallace said.
Barker’s arrest was not reported by ACPD in its daily activity log.
