Identity Theft Rochester, NY Woman Accused

A Rochester woman is accused of using another person’s identity to open a loan and buy a car.

Maria A. English, 24, is accused of fraudulently using personal information from another individual, whose residence is in Rochester, to obtain credit. English allegedly used that credit to open a loan and purchase a Lexus from a Town of Volney business.

English was arrested for grand larceny and identity theft, both felonies.

She was arraigned at the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bail bond.

English is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Volney Court on April 29.
