Child sex crime charges against a convicted Yazoo county registered sex offender could go to a grand jury as early as next month.
Ray Hilderbrand was arrested last week at his home near the Bentonia community.
The alleged crime happened in Warren County where the 37 year old man is accused of soliciting a Vicksburg child under 16 to perform a sex act in his presence.

Hilderbrand is already on probation for a federal conviction for receiving child pornography.
A judge set bond for $100,000 after Hilderbrand’s initial appearance in Warren county justice court.
The serious state charge against the Bentonia man could send him back to prison.
