Three people in Bell County on Wednesday were found guilty of Complicity to Commit Murder in the 2008 death of an elderly man.
Brian Hatfield, Deborah Partin and Candy Maiden were convicted in the January 2008 beating of 91-year-old William Taylor. Taylor died about a week after the attack.

A fourth defendant, Jeremiah Evans, testified against the other three after admitting he drove the other defendants to Taylor’s home, but didn’t take part in the beating.
The sentencing phase in the trial followed the verdict.
