Lexington Police say one man was shot Saturday night while on someone’s front porch on Pemberton Street.
Police say the shooting happened at 10:20 on Pemberton Street between 5th and 6th Streets, when a car with two people in it drove up and fired shots at the victim. Police say there are conflicting reports as to whether or not the shooter got out of the car and fired more shots at the victim before driving away. Police are looking for a two-door silver car, possibly a Chrysler, that may be the shooter’s car.

The victim was was taken to the trauma center at UK Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A witness describes the victim as in his 40’s with salt and pepper hair.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
