Boone County man wants his murder case dismissed due to some new DNA evidence in the case.
Michael Moore is charged with gunning down his own parents, back in 2009.
His defense team says they had an independent lab look at the alleged murder weapon and that’s when they found a second person’s DNA.

A hearing to decide how the new evidence will be handled, is set for late July. If convicted of murder, Moore could face the death penalty.
