Police are investigating after a man was shot in the 2600 block of Stith Valley Road in Guston, Ky. at 10:52 p.m. on July 4 that led to the arrest of the shooting victim’s wife.
Kentucky State Police and the Meade County Sheriff’s units arrived at the scene and found Daniel Reardon, 45, with a single gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown and was later transported to the University of Louisville Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the Jefferson Co. Coroner’s Office.
The victim’s wife, Anne Reardon, 45, was placed under arrest and charged with Murder. Reardon was lodged in the Meade County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing by Det. Aaron Gabhart.
